The CREATE Foundation’s 2024-2025 report showcases the incredible power of young people with powerful experiences to shape their futures. With nearly 32,000 members and 99 Youth Advisory Groups nationwide, these young leaders are creating safe spaces to share their stories, support each other, and influence decision-makers. Through programs like Speak Up, 389 youth built vital leadership and advocacy skills—many becoming passionate CREATE Young Consultants driving change across child protection and human rights.
At the Valuing Children Initiative, we focus on recognizing and prioritizing the rights, needs, and voices of children and young people in decision-making processes. We aim to create a culture that truly values children by promoting their participation, listening to their perspectives, and ensuring their wellbeing is at the heart of policies and practices.
Through advocacy, awareness campaigns, and collaborative efforts with communities and governments, VCI strives to build environments where children are respected, heard, and empowered to shape their own futures, fostering a society that genuinely values and supports the rights and voices of its youngest members.
