Reclaim the streets for fun, safety, and community! Join us for the EHCAN Kids’ Street Party, a FREE EVENT designed to bring families together and highlight the importance of safe play spaces for children in our neighbourhoods.

Bring along a soccer ball, cricket bat, or even set up your own stall to make this celebration truly yours!

Children’s Workshop 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM:
The Valuing Children Initiative invites kids of all ages (0-18) to share their ideas on how we can make streets in their local area safer for play. These ideas will be presented to adults and local government to create real change, paving the way for safer, more child-friendly communities.

Register now to secure your spot!
Registrations for the workshop are essential, fill out the registration form below to let us know you’re coming. Registrations close Monday, 17 February 2025. Parents/guardians will be required to attend/participate in the workshop with their child/ren.

NOTE: Registration is only required for the workshop from 3–4 PM. No registration is needed to join the street party from 4–6 PM—everyone is welcome! Workshop only open to residents of the Town of Bassendean.

Let’s work together to create spaces where children can play freely and safely. We can’t wait to see you there!
