Questions To Ask Organisations About Your Child’s Safety

5 Questions for Parents to Ask

Your Child’s safety is often at the forefront of your mind. You think about them while you’re at work, busy driving home, and every other second of the day. You hope that they will grow into kind and caring adults, and you aim to protect their innocence for as long as you can.

Whilst their safety is important to us, unfortunately, not all Australians share the same outlook towards the safety of our children, this statement is supported by some scary statistics. In 2016, the Valuing Children Initiative conducted a survey and found that one in 5 children will experience some form of sexual abuse before their 18th birthday. In addition to this, there has been a 31% increase in substantiated cases of abuse and neglect since 2010.
